A New Truck Is On The Way!!!

So far in 2004 we have been able to deliver over 600,000 pounds of food to the Greater Tampa Bay area to fight hunger with deliveries of two 35,000 lb semi- tractor truckloads of food per month. We have received a grant that has helped us obtain a 3rd truck from Feed the Children.

This program allows us to not only feed their bodies but also their spirit. 90% of the food recipients are prayed for, ministered to and mentored to be a follower of Christ.

Due to our stewardship and follow-up reporting we have been graced with 30 free pallets of dry milk deliveries each month. We have also acquired a business partnership with Global Harvest, shipper and storehouse of fruit and vegetables that has enabled SCTB to distribute fresh food items when available to those organizations participating in the program.

We are pleased to be able to provide area Compassion Ministries with tools to further help the needy that they serve. The new Food truck we have brought in from Feed The Children was a huge success. Over twenty ministries were able to pickup in excess of 1,500 pounds each. There were many ministries who worked together to separate the food and even helped each other to load. Ministries working together to further GOD’S kingdom.
