Here at Somebody Cares Tampa Bay we want to take the time to recognize the people and organizations that partner with us. Each month we will take a moment to share with you one of our partners and what they do.
Louis Capdevilla and the Capdevilla family have been the stewards of La Teresita Restaurant for over 50 years. They serve the best Cuban food at the best price. Louis has also discipled many leaders in Tampa Bay, his brother, Albert Capdevilla, is one of them. Albert has planted the church, Abundant Love, in Tampa.
Louis has also been a part of disciple making and church planting in Cuba, Pakistan and other countries. He co-leads the Tampa group of pastors in Hillsborough County. La Teresita Restaurant is the host site for the National Day of Prayer in Tampa on May 4th, 2023. We are blessed to be able to have many meetings at the restaurant. Louis generously hosts our pastor's meetings, prayer meetings, and other functions.
We appreciate his giving heart towards Somebody Cares & God's Kingdom. We can't say thank you enough to this great friend, brother, and man of God!
Founded in 1997, Somebody Cares Tampa Bay is a 501(c)3 non-profit with a distinguished history of meeting practical needs of people within the community.
We believe that caring is contagious, and it is our passion to create a "Caretagious" community that extends throughout Tampa Bay and beyond!
Through collaboration with community, ministerial and civic leaders, our volunteer-driven organization accomplishes big things because, "We can do more together than apart."
